Flannel Nightgowns for Little Ones

These are the two little cotton flannel nightgowns I made for granddaughters in December.  The pink flannel fabric and buttons are from Ellie Lou's in Emporia - one of my favorite places to entertain myself and collect goodies for my workshop!

Come See Me! Emporia Public Library, Tuesday March 22 at 6:30 p.m.

I'll be giving a presentation at the library soon!

Overstuffed Closet and Nothing To Wear:
A New Spring Dress Costs Less Than A Sandwich.....But Who Pays?

Gathering up examples of upcycles, over dying and garments with unique quality features in construction and fabrics.  Pulling together interesting facts about the change in the past couple of decades that is leading us to smother our planet in nearly new clothing.  Tips for making small changes and links to others who are making similar changes in their relationship to clothing.

Why not create a wardrobe that you value?

Bring your latest challenge of upcycle project to share!  The event is sponsored by the Emporia Public Library and is free to the public.
